Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alahi wasalam said,
Forgive him who wrongs you; join him who cuts you off; do good to him who does evil to you; and speak the truth even if it be against yourself.

Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alahi wasalam said,

“Get yourself out of this limited world of diseases to the wide world of the hereafter, which has what the eyes have never seen. Nothing is impossible there, and love is not lost. O you who sold yourself for the sake of something that will cause you suffering and pain, and which will also lose its beauty, you sold the most precious item for the cheapest price, as if you neither knew the value of the goods nor the meanness of the price. Wait until you come on the Day of mutual loss and gain and you will discover the injustice of this contract. ‘There is no God but Allah’ is something that Allah is buying. Its price is Paradise, and the Messenger is its agent, and you will be pleased to part with a small part of this worldly life to obtain it. The part you lose is a small part of something that as a whole is not worth a mosquito’s wing.”

“O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted [given salaams to] those in them…” Qur’an [24:27]
“When you are greeted with a greeting [salaams], greet [salaam] in return with what is better than it, or (at least) return it equally…” [4:86]
‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas, radhi Allahu ‘anhu, said:
“A man asked the Prophet, ‘Which type of Islam is the best?’ He said, ‘To feed people, and to say salaam to those you know and those you do not know’” (bukhari & muslim)Al-Baraa’ ibn ‘Aazib, radhi Allahu ‘anhu, said:
“The Messenger of Allah commanded us to do seven things: to visit the sick, to attend funerals, to bless someone when he sneezes, to support the weak, to help one who is oppressed, to spread salaam, and to help people fulfill their oaths.” (bukhari and muslim)“By the One in Whose hand is my soul, you will not enter paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not tell you of something which if you do it, you will love one another? Spread salaam amongst yourselves.” (muslim)
“The closest of the people to Allah is the one who starts the greeting of salaam” (abu dawood, tirmidhi narrated a similar report)
‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar, radhi Allahu ‘anhu, used to go to the market in the morning, and he did not pass by anybody without saying salaam to him. One day he was asked, “What do you do in the market, when you do not sell anything, or ask about prices, or haggle, or join any gatherings?” He said, “We go there in the morning for the purpose of saying salaam to whoever we meet” (bukhari: Al-Adab al-Mufrad)
